The Ceremony of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims in the Jewish Memory and the Holocaust in Ukraine Museum of the Menorah Center

On November 29, the Jewish Memory and the Holocaust in Ukraine Museum will host a series of events to mark the Day of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims.

At 11:00, the first hall of the Museum (2nd floor) will be used for a Remembrance Ceremony, during which the representatives of religious denominations and national communities of Dnepropetrovsk will make their speeches.

At 11:30, the video hall of the Museum (3rd floor) will host a meeting with researchers of the Holodomor. The following specialists will report during the meeting:

  • Alexander Nikilev, Doctor of historical sciences, Professor of the history of Ukraine at the O. Honchar DNU, the head of Dnepropetrovsk organization of the Association of Holodomor researchers.
  • Irina Reva, a researcher at the Alexander Paul Institute, journalist and author of the book “Beyond self”, dedicated to the socio-psychological and cultural consequences of the Holodomor.
