On November 29, the Jewish Memory and the Holocaust in Ukraine Museum will host a series of events to mark the Day of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims.
At 11:00, the first hall of the Museum (2nd floor) will be used for a Remembrance Ceremony, during which the representatives of religious denominations and national communities of Dnepropetrovsk will make their speeches.
At 11:30, the video hall of the Museum (3rd floor) will host a meeting with researchers of the Holodomor. The following specialists will report during the meeting:
- Alexander Nikilev, Doctor of historical sciences, Professor of the history of Ukraine at the O. Honchar DNU, the head of Dnepropetrovsk organization of the Association of Holodomor researchers.
- Irina Reva, a researcher at the Alexander Paul Institute, journalist and author of the book “Beyond self”, dedicated to the socio-psychological and cultural consequences of the Holodomor.
