The Menorah Center represented by Deputy Director in Marketing and Sales Mariana Geller and a senior marketing specialist Elena Andriyevskaya participated in the UITT UKRAINE – Travel and Tourism 2014 exhibition organized by Premier Expo (Ukraine) and ITE Group Plc (UK).
The Menorah Center sparkled particular interest for its uniqueness and magnitude. The exhibition visitors, stopping by the Menorah stand, enjoyed a lot the information about the services offered by the Menorah Center. They liked that the full range of services, including accommodation, catering and conference service is available under one roof of the Center. As was noted by visitors themselves: “… it is about convenience and comfort!”
It was especially enjoyable to meet with those, who were already familiar with the Menorah Center. Menorah’s loyal customers and partners gave their positive feedback and thanked the Center’s staff for their professionalism and hospitality.
Among the visitors to the exhibition were various tour operators, travel agencies, private and corporate clients from all over Ukraine.
Ukrainian companies as well as the representatives of foreign countries, such as Bulgaria, Turkey, Tunisia , Italy, and some others participated in the exhibition.
The UITT UKRAINE – Travel and Tourism 2014 exhibition was a success, its visitors could establish useful contacts and received interesting offers and new potential customers.
On 26-28 March 2014, the Menorah Center takes part in an important large scale event of the tourism industry of Ukraine – 20th jubilee UITT “UKRAINE – Travel and Tourism” exhibition. On March 21, 2014 the U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman arrived to Dnepropetrovsk and the Menorah Center on an official visit, the purpose of which was to support the Ukrainian people and Ukraine as a whole, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During her official visit Wendy Sherman was taken on a tour of the Menorah Center, in the course of which she was shown all major attractions, as well as the Museum of Jewish Memory and the Holocaust in Ukraine.
The U.S. Under Secretary met with the leadership of the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community, the management of the Center, as well as community leaders and Ukraine’s civil society representatives. After her meetings Sherman said: “Today I have met with the largest Jewish community in Ukraine in order to ask for their true opinion about the growth of anti-Semitism under the new Government. I want to tell you that this is just not true. In fact, I heard that everybody in Dnepropetrovsk region has equal rights and are responsible citizens, collaborating with the Governor and his team to achieve a better future”.
On March 22 Sherman left Ukraine for Brussels to participate in the annual Brussels Forum on Global Leadership.
