The large Yud Shvat female farbrengen

The main Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community’s female farbrengen in honor of the Yud Shvat 5776 year Day took place in the Menorah Grand Hall ballroom.

In the Pchelkin’s House foyer, before the farbrengen, women could participate in exciting workshops to learn creating interior elements to decorate a Jewish home, write a letter to the Rebbe and register for the big holiday lottery dedicated to “the Ten Mivtsoim” proclaimed by Rebbe. In his opening speech, Chief Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk Shmuel Kaminezki emphasized not only the importance of the Yud Shvat Day, but also the fact that this meeting was taking place in the year of Akel, because, as taught by the sages, meetings held this year, help increase all the good in each of us, and leave all evil “outside”.

Then the guests watched a short video dedicated to the Akel year in the Jewish tradition, and read Tehillim 114 in honor of the Yud Shvat Day for the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Later, everyone enjoyed a tasty and kosher treat from the Menorah Grand Palace restaurant.

The main event of the evening turned out a special quiz, for which women had prepared in advance, and various teams combined at each table competed for the main award. The table , which was recognized as the winner, received a special prize from the hands of Shoshanna Weber: fabric printed portraits of the sixth and seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe.
